DeviantArt sees fit to warn its scurrilous inhabitants that it’s not safe to leave because there are monsters outside.
It brings tears to my eyes, it really does. Less ‘deviant’ and more ‘designated punching bags for the Internet may gather here and massage their wizened senses of self-worth back into something approximating life, which will hold up only as long as they...
“Life is a glorious cycle of song,
A medley of extemporanea.

And I am Marie of Roumania. “

“I’m a fan. I’m a sports fan, I’m a music fan, I’m a Star Trek fan, all of ‘em. But here’s what I don’t do. Tell me if any of this sounds familiar: Let’s list our ten favorite episodes. psychotherapy:
A big part of the solution, he says, is opening up to the idea that play is a state of mind. Every day, there are opportunities to play, which he defines as “an absorbing, apparently purposeless activity that provides enjoyment and a suspension of self-consciousness and sense of time.”
But society pushes adults away from play, teaching them to think playful...
